Aloysius institutions hand over Rs 4.5 lakh for Kedarnath rehabilitation

MANGALORE: The students of St Aloysius College, High School, PU College and the management contributed Rs 4.5 lakh towards Kedarnath rehabilitation.
A cheque for Rs 3.5 lakhs in favour Prime Minister's Relief Fund was handed over to the deputy commissioner N Prakash by Fr Denzil Lobo, the rector along with students and faculty members, and another cheque for Rs 1 lakh was handed over by Fr Francis Almeida, vice-principal of SAC to Rt Rev Aloysius Paul D'Souza, the bishop of Mangalore to be sent to CARITAS which is helping in the rehab works in Kedarnath.

Ponnanna, president, College Students Union along with the secretary Rashmi Peres and John D'Silva, vice-principal handed over the amount to Fr Denzil Lobo, Rector Rahul Vas, Union president Neil Rego, secretary, Justine Danti, joint secretary, along with Fr Elvis Lewis, principal, St Aloysius PU College and Rekha Alva, vice-principal, handed over the contribution by the PU section to Fr Rector before it was handed over to the Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner.
