Aatid Onji Dina observed

Mangaluru: NSS unit of St Agnes College, Mangaluru, organised ‘Aatid Onji Dina’, recently, to mark the monsoon month of Aati in Tulu calendar. Dr Asha Jyothi Rai Maladi, ayurvedic practitioner, was the resource person. Dr Rai opined that Tuluvas from times immemorial led a sustainable life, in accordance to the forces of nature, observing rituals and practices associated with each season. She appraised the relevance of observances and its scientific efficacy during the Aati season. tnn
