3 of family from Bengaluru die incar-bus collision

Mangaluru: Three members of a family were killed when their car collided with a bus at Nellikaru in Moodbidri police station limits on Saturday morning. The deceased are Shrikanth, 40, his wife Prathyusha, 37, and their daughter Gamya, a toddler. Shikanth and Prathyusha are software engineers hailing from Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, and working in Bengaluru. They were heading to Udupi from Bengaluru, said police. The bus was moving from Karkala to Belthangady where the accident took place. All the three were killed on the spot. tnn
