T T V Dhinakaran, on Wednesday, said that AMMK is a party that has come into existence to give the people of
Tamil Nadu a true people’s rule and it will ensure that projects opposed by the people are not implemented here.
Campaigning for his party candidate R Sundarajan in Pudukottai in Ottapidaram constituency in Tuticorin district, he said that Sundarajan was a person who had stood true to the party, which propagated the policies of Amma and with the cadres after Amma’s death. “He could have gone to the OPS/EPS tender company, and benefitted from sand tenders and others, but he decided to stay with the cadres,” he said.
“Palaniswami has become fearful of his loss, after May 23 and making false charges against me, and saying that I was working for the DMK. If it is so, how did the DMK lose its deposit in the RK Nagar

?’’ he asked.
He said that EPS and OPS are acting as the agents of Modi. They had been able to keep the name of the party and its symbol, but the cadres were with the AMMK. Palaniswami, who is in-charge of the police, is answerable to the people of Tamil Nadu after May 23. He should tell the people, who was responsible for the death of innocent people in the Tuticorin shooting,” he said.
He said that Pudukottai panchayat would be upgraded to a town panchayat after the
elections
and that the constituency would get many benefits if the AMMK candidate is elected with a big majority.
