Two tourists injured as tree falls on car on Kodai hill road

Dindigul: Two tourists were severely injured when a tree fell on their car near Mulaiyaru on the Kodaikanal-Vathalagundu hill road following continuous rainfall on Sunday.The family from Kottayam, Kerala, was returning from a vacation in Kodaikanal when the accident occurred. Five passengers were trapped inside the vehicle and were rescued by passing motorists. The injured, identified as John and Dominic, were taken to Panaiyakkadu Government Hospital, while the others sustained minor injuries.
