Pongal rush: Southern Railway announces one-way special train to Madurai
MADURAI: Southern Railway announced a one-way special MEMU train from Chennai Egmore to Madurai to clear the extra rush of passengers traveling to their hometowns for Pongal.
The 8-Car MEMU will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Trichy, Manaparai, Dindigul, Sholavandan and Kudalnagar.
