Pamban Swamigal function today

Madurai: Thejo Mandala Sabha will conduct Pamban Srimath Kumaragurudasa Swamigal

function

at the Madurai Institute of Social Sciences from 6 am to 7 pm on Sunday.

The function will consist of various events including a book releasing event, music and discourse. Star Othuvamoorthigals will sing hymns while Thiruthani Swaminathan, Karur Swaminathan, Palani Venkatesan, Madurai Muthukumaran, Karivalam Canthanallur M Sundar and Sivakasi M Ramesh will render songs of Pamban Swamigal.

Shaiva Siddantha Thondar Mamani Surya Moorthi, Gnanathiral magazine editor K Sivakumar, joint editor Renuka Ramesh and Sri Meenakshi College professor Chandra will speak at the event. State revenue minister R B Udayakumar will present the welcome address. Thejo Mandala Sabha president C V Sadanandan and executive member D Dayalan said people in Chennai and its surrounding districts only were aware of Pamban Swamigal and his teachings and not those in the southern districts.
