Jeevitha was married to G Sivaraj of Anna Nagar eight years ago. Recently, she gave birth to a baby boy in Government Rajaji Hospital.
After the delivery, she went to her mother’s house in Sallakulam with her baby. However, she was depressed as her husband had not visited her due to family disputes. Jeevitha’s son was always crying and not sucking breast milk properly. Frustrated over all these, the woman took a knife and slit the throat of her son on Thursday morning.
