MP visited Theni
Lok Sabha
constituency on Thursday and thanked voters for electing him. He assured them that he would give priority to solving the
drinking water
problem in the constituency.
Ravindranath started his tour at Alananganallur in Madurai district. Alananganallur and some others parts of Madurai district fall under the
Theni
parliamentary constituency.
He met the people in Valayapatti village and listened to their grievances. Later, he garlanded the statue of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar in Chathiravellalapatti village accompanied by minister for revenue R B Udayakumar.
Addressing the people, Ravindranath said Udayakumar had played a crucial role in his victory.
“When I came seeking votes, I said I was your child, and now I reiterate that I would do my best as your child for this region,’’ he said.
Ravindranth is planning to visit all the villages in the constituency in the coming days.
