Gang arrested in Madurai

MADURAI: Six people were nabbed from a secluded area opposite to Mattuthavani fruit market in Madurai on Tuesday while they were preparing to commit a robbery.
The arrested have been identified as M Nagamani, 26, Servaran Chinthamani, 26, P Sethumani, 18, T Madasamy, 22, G Arumugam, 19, and a teenager. All hail from PT Colony and Karumbalai.
The Anna Nagar police spotted them inside bushes, rounded them up and arrested them.Two knives, a rope and chilli powder were seized from them.
The police registered a case.
