Apollo ‘health check on wheels’ flagged off

Madurai: Apollo Hospitals vice-chairperson Dr Preetha Reddy on Thursday flagged off a `1.5-crore ‘Health Check on Wheels’ bus in Madurai. The bus will visit all corporates in and around Madurai district to conduct on-site health check-up for clientele. “The mobile clinic will leverage our cutting edge preventive health solutions to help detect, manage and if caught early enough, cure and even reverse several diseases including certain cancers,” said Dr Reddy.Dr Praveen Rajan, joint director – medical services, Apollo Hospitals, said the bus is designed to offer a comprehensive range of tests, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, cardiac stress test, audiometry, ECHO, ECG, PFT, ENT check-up, Eye check-up, physical examination, basic vitals and blood sample collection.
