2 boys drown in Rajapalayam

Virudhunagar: Two boys died while taking bath in a stream at Rajapalayam here on Wednesday.The deceased were identified as S Sivaprasad, 12, of S Ramalingapuram and R Saran, 10, of Tenkasi district.Police said Saran, son of P Ramaraj, an auto driver in Tenkasi, had come to his grandmother’s house at S Ramalingapuram. On Wednesday, five children from the area including Sivaprasad and Saran went to take bath in a stream nearby which had good flow. Sivaprasad and Saran drowned in the water.Locals rescued and rushed them to the Rajapalayam government hospital. However, the doctors declared them brought dead.TNN
