2 arrested, 61 sovereigns gold jewel recovered

Virudhunagar: Police have arrested two people who were involved in several theft cases and recovered nearly 61 sovereigns of gold jewellery at Sattur in the district on Thursday.
Following several theft incidents which were reported in Sattur town areas, a special team was formed to nab the culprits based on the order of the superintendent of police M Rajarajan.
On Thursday night, the special team arrested two people Rajkumar,32, and Naveenkumar, 20, who are the residents of Sattur and recovered the gold from them.
Police said that Rajkumar and Naveenkumar were involved in several gold thefts cases.
