from January 1. Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that the hike in power tariff will be a burden on people of Punjab and Government should take the decision back immediately.

Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that from last two years the power prices were hiked for the fourth time. The electricity prices in Punjab were highest in comparison with prices of electricity in other states. The government has failed on every front and now putting the burden on people in the form of taxes.

Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that the government has failed to pay electricity bills of various government departments and for the financial benefit of Electricity board, the government has hiked the power tariff by 50 paisa per unit. The Youth Akali Dal immediately demanded the Government to take the decision back otherwise they will launch agitation.
