LUDHIANA: The city is all set to be dazzled once again with fashion show and exhibitions. After Punjab International Fashion Week, its Glitz and Glamour Fashion Show and Exhibition that has taken off from Friday, showcasing outfits by the best of designers in country. A few have earned international fame and one even designed clothes for Michael Jackson.
The inaugural day witnessed models walk the ramp for diversified talents from India’s leading designers at a city mall.

While Amod Trivedi started the show, Debarun ended it with his Indian collection. Amod enthralled the city with impeccable bridal collection, which was very traditional with vibrant colours flowing flawlessly along with a lot of gota work. This collection was unique as it had the imprint of Punjab.
Manish Ahuja’s Raa Design, which was an inspiration of Indian salwar kameez and tunics, followed. His foray designs was a transformation of cotton, chiffons and georgette with most intricate and beautiful threadworks in prjt, diffusion and couture for the elite.
Next was Mani Karan, and then Debarun who exhibited contemporary and Indianwear in elegant styles and cut from richly woven fabrics. Bridal lehengas, sarees, chaniya cholis and salwar suits took breath away of each and every individual watching the show.
The duo of AbhiRahul beautifully intertwined their design sensibility with refined textures and innovative crafts. Rich draping and inventive craftsmanship complete with impeccable fit and finish conjugate the key facets defined their ensembles.
The city of Ludhiana will see the star cast of Tere Ishq Nachaya, including Mannat Singh, Dakash Ajit Singh, Gavi Chahal and Deep Dhillon walk the ramp for various designers on Saturday.
