U-14 girls dist-level football tourney underway

Ludhiana: The district-level football tournament of under-14 girls commenced at the Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS), Sarabha Nagar here. Ten teams from various zones of Ludhiana participated in the U-14 category. The tournament, which began on Friday, will end on Saturday. It was inaugurated by Ludhiana DEO Swaranjit Kaur and Ludhiana AEO Ajitpal Singh.

Other distinguished guests present on the occasion were convenor Paramjit Kaur, Rajwant Kaur, Sukhwinder Kaur, Satwinder Kaur, Sharanjit Kaur, Samandeep Kaur, Thakurpreet Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Iqbal Singh, Gurmail Singh, Ranbir Singh, and GNPS Physical Education head Bhupinder Singh. The teams showed their skills and sportsmanship while trying to outshine each other, and their teamwork and dedication was apparent on the field. Parvinder Kaur motivated the players and wished them good luck, saying the field was the right place to develop comradeship.
