LUDHIANA: Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan was on Saturday a sight to see. City residents had gathered in huge number to watch the play, 'Two to tango, three to jive', which indeed was a treat for theatre enthusiasts.
The play, staged by the Ludhiana Sanskriti Samagam, revolved around the life of a man and his search for an ideal relationship. The role of the protagonist was played by actor Saurabh Shukla, who is also the writer of the play.
Staged for the first time in Punjab, the play involved actors like Sadia Siddqui, Achint Kaur and Preeti Mamgain.
"The name justifies the story. While tango is a dance form involving two people, jive involves more. When a man tries to search for happiness from someone besides his partner, it leads to total chaos. However, in the end, it is your soul mate who gives you real happiness," Shukla said.
The play touched lives of everyone present in the auditorium as each of us are in fact a part of the quest for happiness.
