Vivek Sharma was accused of consuming liquor in the family lounge of club against norms, complainant in the matter

demanded the
CCTV
footage from the authorities as Sharma and his family lodged a complaint against the former accusing him of misbehavior.
Malhotra claimed that they all were present in the club when Sharma was drinking in the family lounge.
He said, "The sports secretary is lying blatantly. Not only he was drinking alone in the family lounge, he even called up his family members and asked them to come to the club after I caught him. The CCTV footage of the reception will expose his false claims and I do not think that club's executive should have any problems in releasing the footage. I did not misbehave with him at any moment. In fact it was him who tried to do so."
Meanwhile, club members are furious over the latest incident and many of them are contemplating to move a complaint to the deputy commissioner-cum-president of the club
Ravi Bhagat
to get the entire episode investigated.
A member on the condition of anonymity said, "It is evident from the video shot by Malhotra that sports secretary was in the family lounge alone and he left the place hurriedly. But his family members cannot be seen anywhere in the video. If his claims are correct that his family was downstairs and entered the club along with him, then he should prove that to the complainant by showing him the CCTV footage of the cameras installed at club's reception."
