Ludhiana: A virtual state-level function was organized in the meeting hall at the office of general manager, district industries centre in the sidelines of the launch of National Logistics Policy. A presentation was also made by the state department of industries and commerce on the Draft Logistics and Logistics Park Policy for Punjab.
Secretary-cum-director, industries and commerce, IAS Sibin C joined the event online and addressed the stakeholders by highlighting the importance of logistics in the state and also briefed the attendees of the salient features of state’s draft logistics policy. It was also discussed how the state’s policy has been made keeping the principles of the Draft National Logistics Policy, 2019 and PM GatiShakti National Master Plan, at its core. Various stakeholders were present and had a detailed discussion regarding the upcoming policy.
The event here was presided over by joint director Mahesh Khanna, joint DGFT Utpal Kumar and general manager Rakesh Kansal, who thanked the participants for their active participation.
