She sings like Sunidhi, and Himesh too

LUDHIANA: The mimicry competition at second youth festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) discovered an entertaining stand-up comedian in Alisha Chhabra on Thursday.
Performing on stage for the first time, Alisha, produced sounds of train, birds, animals and imitated various singers like Miley Cyrus, Sunidhi Chauhan, Usha Uthup, Mika and Himesh Reshammiya. Her five-minute stint received huge appreciation from the spectators.
Alisha, 18, a resident of New Prem Nagar and a student of BFSc-I, said she likes dancing, reading and photography. She observes things around her with keen interest and that helps her imitate sounds, Alisha said. While preparing for her performance in youth fest, Alisha carefully observed the singers and celebrities and caught hold of their styles. Being an ardent nature lover, she always found her self close to birds and animals and couldn't avoid imitating them, she said. "I am delighted with the appreciation I received in youth festival,'' Alisha added.
