Seeking rly jobs, 3 duped of ₹9.6 lakh
Ludhiana: Khanna police have booked three persons, including a father-son duo, for duping three persons of Rs 9.6 lakh on the pretext of providing them jobs in the railways. The accused were identified as Surjit Singh, his father Mahal Singh of Tibbi Kalan in Ferozepur, and Paramjit Singh of Amloh in Fatehgarh Sahib. In his complaint to the police, Karnail Singh of Turmari village alleged that the accused conspired and duped him of Rs 9.6 lakh while promising jobs for his two daughters and nephew . tnn
