LUDHIANA: Gandhi Nagar resident Jatinder Kaur offered sweets in the temple after her pet pug delivered six puppies on Tuesday. It was a memorable moment for the family as the three-year-old Noni delivered puppies through caesarean operation at a private veterinary clinic on Thursday.
While talking to TOI, Jatinder Kaur, resident of Gandhi Nagar who is a student, said, ''Noni gave me immense happiness by delivering six puppies.
She is like a family member to me. I am thrilled on the latest edition to our family.'' Adding that earlier she was really worried when the doctor informed her that they would have to conduct caesarean operation to deliver the puppies. ''Everybody in my family was so excited to see the puppies. We simply thanked God for saving our Noni and blessing us with an extended family,'' she said.
Darshan Singh, father of Jatinder said that he was really worried about his pet and could not even think of loosing her, adding that he had always loved her as a family member. ''It is a great feeling to love the puppies. I still remember that Noni was just one year old when we bought her two years ago.''
His wife Manjit Kaur said that she had always loved to take care of Noni and was now ready to take care of the puppies. ''It would be my pleasure to take care of these new born puppies.''
