Lok Insaf Party

chief and legislator Simarjit Singh Bains, on Tuesday, said he was trying to get Delhi to pay for the use of Punjab waters.

This, he said, was a promise he made prior to the last assembly elections. Interacting with mediapersons in Patiala, Bains said he had written to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann, requesting him to raise the issue with the Delhi chief minister.

Meanwhile, Bains also got bail in a criminal defamation case filed by Punjab minister Brahm Mohindra.
