MGNREGA to get appreciation letters, warning for non performers

LUDHIANA:

District Administration

has decided to felicitate MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) Gam Sewaks, who have performed their duties with dedication and honesty. Beside this, the

Gram Sewaks

who have not achieved their targets will be issued warning letters and advised to improve their performance.

While giving information, Additional Deputy Commissioner

Surbhi Malik

said that district Ludhiana was availing maximum benefit of this pro-worker scheme, as Gram Sewaks were doing good job at ground level. To motivate them, district administration has decided to felicitate those 12 gram sewaks. They will be given appreciation letters. Apart from this, warning letters will be issued to those, who have not achieved their targets.

ADC said that these appreciation letters would motivate gram sewaks and warning letters would give chance to non performers to improve their performance as well. She said that district administration was committed to provide

employment opportunities

to needy workers.
