LUDHIANA: A birthday celebration becomes all the more joyous when one celebrates it with friends and this happens every month at Mother's Pride School. The school celebrated birthday of 22 students who were born this month, on Sunday.
The day was celebrated by inviting the parents and grand parents of students, who came dressed in vibrant colours, turning the school into nothing less than a Disneyland.
Cakes, balloons, slides and candies kept the kids busy while fun filled games engrossed their parents and brought out the kid in them. Musical chair, cat walks and dance performances by parents and grand parents spread unimaginable happiness among kids.
Some grand parents even sang melodious numbers from their times.
Veer Singh Kalsi's father Karanveer Singh Kalsi of Model Gram said, the day full of ultimate fun, would stay for long in children's memories. Wagesh Chopra's father Jagmohan Chopra of Old Court area said such activities in school let children grasp the message of love and togetherness and they learn the importance of celebrations and traditions.
School director Shoban Soi said this tradition to celebrate birthdays together provides a platform to parents and grand parents to celebrate along with their kids, their friends and teachers at the school campus.
