, 69, and daughter-in-law Manika.Prem Nath’s son Abhishek said, “Our neighbour has been creating nuisance in the locality for long. He is a car dealer and often parks his cars outside our house. On Tuesday, too, he had parked his car near the main door of our house.”“He abused and punched my father in face when he asked him to remove the car from outside our house. As my father fell down, he thrashed and kicked him. On hearing his screams, when my mother and wife rushed to his rescue, the accused manhandled them also. Before fleeing, he threatened my father,” he added.Earlier, too, the accused had fought with them over the issue of car park. “He would often brandish a revolver to threaten us. He has been harassing us for long as he wants us to vacate the house so that he can purchase it,” he said.Dugri police station SHO inspector

said, “A complaint has been received. We have also procured CCTV footage of their house, in which the accused is seen thrashing the elderly man and manhandling the women. The statements are being recorded to lodge an FIR.”
