Man assaults school clerk, principal

Ludhiana: A man and his friends assaulted a clerk and principal of a private school, who had asked him to deposit monthly fee of his children.
Salem Tabri police have lodged an FIR against Vijay Chauhan, his brother and 12 unidentified persons.
In her complaint, school principal Sunita, 53, of Shivpuri, said Vijay along with his brother came to the school to deposit fee of their children on November 16 and claimed that Sukhwinder Singh, a clerk in the school, had misbehaved with them over phone on the issue of non-payment of fee.She called Sukhwinder to her office to clear the matter, but the accused indulged in a verbal spat with him.
The principal said the accused further called his accomplices and attacked the clerk. When she intervened, they thrashed her too.tnn
