has strongly opposed the hefty power bills sent to consumers by the electricity board.

Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that the electricity rates in Punjab were very high and electricity department also add unnecessary taxes and arrears in bills.
In a Press statement, Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that the consumers are getting hefty power bill. The power price in Punjab is highest among other states.
Moreover, the electricity departments add unnecessary arrears, taxes in power bills which become trouble for the consumers. Gosha said that when consumers visit offices of electricity department, they didn’t get satisfied answers.
The Youth Akali Dal district president said that they will start agitation if electricity department does not revise power bills.
