Kali poster controversy: BJP seeks action

Ludhiana: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders handed over a memorandum to the police commissioner demanding action against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and film director Leena Manimekalai for their alleged offending comments against Goddess Kali on Saturday. District BJP president Pushpinder Singhal said a section of film industry people, in order to get cheap publicity, were intentionally insulting Hindu gods, so strict legal action should be taken against them. He demanded action as per law against such people. tnn
