A free medical camp was organized by Hero DMC Heart Institute at Government Senior Secondary School, Hambran here on Sunday.

LUDHIANA: A free medical camp was organized by Hero DMC Heart Institute at Government Senior Secondary School, Hambran here on Sunday.
Dr Naved Aslam, Cardiologist, at Hero DMC Heart Institute (HDHI) led the team of doctors and technicians from Hero DMC Heart Institute which included attending physician Dr Rakendra.
Apart from HDHI, doctors from various other hospitals were present at the moment for examining the patients.

Giving details of the free medical camp, Dr Naved Aslam, Cardiologist at HDHI, said "We are pleased with the outcome of the camp. This initiative is our effort to reach out to the people who do not have the time and money to afford regular check-ups, and are not even aware about the importance of good health, we strongly believe that prevention is better than cure and we look forward to treating more patients at our next medical camp venture.
At the camp free echocardiography, blood sugar test was done and medicines were distributed among all patients.
