Gangster’s ‘friend’ thrashed outside DMCH, 12 booked

Ludhiana: An ambulance driver paid the price of “being friends” with jailed gangster Sagar Neutron as he was thrashed by the latter’s rivals outside Dayanand Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday midnight.
The accused also shot a video of the bashing and uploaded it on the social networking sites.
Acting on the complaint of Sukhdeep Singh of Haibowal Kalan, the division number 8 police lodged an FIR against Kamal, Kunal Sharma alias Kambi and their 10 unidentified accomplices.
Sukhdeep claimed that he was sitting in the taxi stand outside DMCH around 12.30am when a group of miscreants reached there and asked him about his relation with Sagar. They then told him to abuse the gangster on video. When he refused to do that, the accused thrashed him and escaped. tnn
