Ludhiana: Division number 2 police busted a gang of vehicle thieves with the arrest of three men. Police have recovered eight stolen motorcycles from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Surinder Singh, 25, Surjit Singh alias Mugri, 40 of Manjh Phaguwal and Karanpal Singh alias Karan of Talwan village in Jalandhar. Sub-inspector Amritpal Sharma, SHO, division number 2 police station said that they received a complaint from the victim, Ram Bhajan, who said that his bike had been stolen from the market.
Police arrested the accused after investigation and recovered the stolen bikes. The SI added that Surinder is facing trial in a snatching and a theft case, while Surjit has three drug peddling FIRs registered against him. tnn
