Ludhiana: Dr Inderjeet Singh, vice-chancellor at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Gadvasu), Ludhiana, has been bestowed with the ‘Distinguished Veterinarian of India’ award by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The award was conferred at a national-level event organised by the department of animal husbandry and dairying, Government of India, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Parshottam Rupala conferred the award in the presence VCI president Dr Umesh Chandra, and other prominent persons.
