Film shoot brings Jonita Doda to town

LUDHIANA: Actor Jonita Doda was in the city for the shooting of her upcoming film ' Yaar Dildara'. The film is based on two business families of Ludhiana. It is a mixture of action, comedy and love, she said. ''We had to shoot the film at colleges and at other popular places,'' she added.
Jonita appreciated the warm attitude of the locals but said that the traffic needs to be streamlined.The movie is expected to be released in September. Harbhajan Mann and Gulzaar are also a part of the movie. The film is directed by Kssitij Chaudhary and the production is managed by T-series while the music is by Jaidev. This is Jonita's second Punjabi film.
Her first movie was ''Chak Jawana''. Born and brought-up in Chandigarh, Jonita had moved to Mumbai for her professional career. She had acted in Malyalam, Kannad and Tamil films. She had worked hard to get herself well-versed with the languages.
Jonita said that the South film industry is very professional and she had learnt a lot from it. At present, she is working for two bollywood films also.
Jonita said that she wanted to be a pilot but she is quite satisfied working for the film industry. ''I am really looking forward to work for bollywood ads,'' she said.
