LUDHIANA: Kuldeep Singh, the former personal assistant (PA) to former Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Jagdev Singh Talwandi was brutally assaulted to death with swords at Missing Link-2, near Dhandra Road in Ludhiana late on Friday night.
The man, who was diving a car, was cased by another car. The accused intercepted his way, dragged him out of the car and assaulted him to deaths. The entire incident was captured in a video by a passerby.
The initial police probe suggests that, Kuldeep was travelling in his car from his farmhouse when a group of assailants in a Swift car began following him. They intercepted his vehicle on the highway, forcibly pulled him out, and started assaulting him with sharp weapons.
Despite Kuldeep’s repeated cries for help, no one intervened, however a passerby captured the murder incident.
Police officials reached the spot after receiving information and have started an investigation. Senior officers said the motive behind the murder is yet to be confirmed and efforts are on to identify and arrest the culprits.
