Ludhiana: A dairy farm owner, Amandeep Singh of Meharban village, has won Rs 2.50 crore in a state government lottery.
The draw was held on Sunday.
An ecstatic Amandeep, 35, said, “Winning the first prize of Rs 2.5 crore is like a dream come true. I will utilise the money to make a positive difference in my family and my lives. I will expand my dairy farm business and spend the remaining amount on the education of my daughter and son.”
Amandeep has submitted all the required documents with with Punjab lotteries department to encash the prize money.
Earlier on November 1, Punjab lotteries department had held the draw of Punjab State Maa Lakshmi Diwali Pooja Bumper in which Sanjeev Kumar, a painter who hailed from Himachal Pradesh, had won the first prize of Rs 2.50 crore.
