Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that on first day, they distributed langar to 1,000 people, which has now grown to more than 15,000 people a day. Many social organisations, residents and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak committee (SGPC) are helping in serving the langar. Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that a number of people call them to contribute in langar sewa and his team collects food and serves it to the needy.

Gurdeep Singh Gosha said some persons are creating false propaganda that there is no need of langar as government is providing food items and groceries to everyone. He said that in reality, thousands of people need langar daily and they are trying to reach all those in need. He said that they will continue langar sewa till the lockdown period is over.
