City girls bag top spots in PU exams

Ludhiana: Panjab University, Chandigarh on Monday released the results of end-semester examinations, in which students from Ludhiana’s affiliated colleges performed well.Government College for Girls, Ludhiana, bagged six of top ten positions in PU exams of BSc sixth semester. Arsha got first position in PU with 96.7% marks, followed by Sakshi at fourth with 95.75%, Supriya Grover and Nakitika at fifth with 95.65%, Gurleen Kaur at seventh with 95.15%, and Navpreet Kaur at 10th with 94.25% marks.SDP College for Women also witnessed 100% results in BA- BEd eigth semester exams, in which Shruti Mishra bagged the first position in college by securing 91.39% marks, followed by Vishali at second with 90.71%, and Diksha at third with 89.71% marks.Similarly, students of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, Model Town, Ludhiana, brought laurels by obtaining excellent results in BCA second semester exams. Ashleen Kaur secured the first position in college by obtaining 80.75%, followed by Hritika Singh and Tanya Kochhar at second position with 79.25%, and Sana and Srishti Sharma at third with 79% marks each.
