City boy in National Taekwondo tourney
Akshit Chandel, a student of Class 12 (non-medical) of Spring Dale Senior Secondary Public School, has been selected to play national level taekwondo championship to be held in Bengaluru.
He won a Gold Medal in 45-48 category weight in the Junior Punjab State Taekwondo Championship (2014) organized by Taekwondo Federation of India at Guru Nanak Stadium and qualified for the nationals.
