Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi pays obeisance at 2 gurdwaras

PATIALA: Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Saturday paid obeisance at

Gurdwara Taadi Sahib

and later at Gurdwara Katalgarh Sahib in Chamkaur Sahib. Channi, besides paying respect to the elderly, also met the youth of the constituency.

"He reached

Gurdwara Sahib

in the evening and earlier had met the people of his constituency and also thanked them for showing love and affection," said Jasvir Singh, his assistant.

"He campaigned door to door but with only a few supporters. From 10 am in the morning,

started meeting constituents and by the evening he reached Gurdwara Sahib and met the head near the gate," said local resident Paramjit Singh, who lives near the gurdwara.
