Call emergency session, say bains brothers

LUDHIANA: In the midst of a duel between SAD - BJP and Congress over SYL canal waters following the Supreme Court verdict on Thursday, Awaaz -e -Punjab members -- Balwinder Bains and Simarjit Bains -- demanded an emergency session of the assembly.
In a letter to the assembly speaker, they have demanded that an session be called immediately for a detailed discussion on the issue, and thereafter all the MLAs should resign.They have also demanded that till the time the session is called, the resignations of Congress MLAs not be accepted. They also stated that they would meet chief minister Parkash Singh Badal along with Pargat Singh and Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Friday.
