JALANDHAR: Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann broke his silence on the crisis in AAP's Punjab unit following the removal of Sukhpal Singh Khaira as the leader of opposition, but he said little.
The vagueness of his Facebook post instead irked supporters. "Friends looking at the crisis within the party, which we toiled very hard for, I feel great disappointment... opponents must be feeling very happy...

I am sad that nothing is within my authority because all authority is with elected MLAs... I had resigned from the post of state president - Khaira saab is like my elder brother and he is very courageous and straight forward leader. I hope that he would resolve the issue by involving all so that we can fight for the rights of the Punjab," Mann said in the post on Monday.
People flooded his post with comments. "If it is in the authority of the MLAs then leave the decision to them. Who is Manish Sisodia to take a decision on this? You remained silent whenever a leader was insulted. Don't forget that next can be your turn. You speak well about wrongdoings by other parties,. but why do you remain silent on wrongdoings in your own party?" a user, Jagmeet Singh, commented.
"You know Khaira is not at fault. You were silent on Chhotepur and Jassi Jasraj; if you remain silent now, it will be difficult...if Kejriwal will give a few more statements playing casteist politics, remaining will also dump him," commented another netizen, Baljit Rai.
