LUDHIANA: Craze for private bands has caught the fancy of Ludhiana residents. Recently, Yashu Makkar, 26, hosted a party at a lush green palatial farm house at Thakur colony on Pakhowal road where he invited a Ludhaina-based band, B minor, to perform Sufi and English rock music for the night. It was a get-together of 12 friends who had a gala time listening to live music.
Yashu Makkar shared, “It was different this time. We go to private clubs and restaurants and enjoy the charm of live music. So I thought of calling a band for our get together. It was a great success. Everybody enjoyed music, dedicating songs to each other and we all sang songs with band members
Simran and Tajinder, who set the evening on fire.”
Ayush Dhandha, owner of the farm house, shared, “The idea of calling a private band was simply awesome. Otherwise we have drinks, do chit chat and leave, but this time we were soaked in music and enjoying our little get-together with music, which is obviously was different and engaging than music we play on systems.
