Pardeep Singh Bunty, LIP in-charge media cell, said he handles the social media account of Bains. On Wednesday, he received a message on Facebook page in which an unidentified person said, “Now you have money to give to advocate. However, when we had asked for the money, you said you don’t have money. Don’t worry, now you are in our area. We will attack you right from the front and we will reveal you the name of our group once the work is done.”

He said earlier in April, Bains has received a threat and a complaint was given to the DGP, but no action was taken. They are giving a fresh complaint to the police to probe the matter.
