JALANDHAR: Accusing the Badals and other leaders of the SAD of indulging in drama at
Akal Takht
and in Darbar Sahib complex to seek forgiveness, rights group Khalra Mission Organization has said that Sikh body should issue directive to sever "all Panthic ties" with the Badals.
The group has also said that by seeking forgiveness, Badals had admitted that they were party to atrocities on Sikhs, including Operation Blue Star and fake encounters of in
Punjab.
“They just want to cover their big sins of the past due to which Sikhs suffered a lot including army operation at Darbar Sahib and fake encounters. They have also admitted that they have amassed a lot of wealth at the cost of the state exchequer and resources and now Akal Takht should issue directive to sever all Panthic ties with them,” said KMO vice president Virsa Singh Behla, propaganda secretary Parveen Kumar and member Gurjeet Singh.
They also demanded that picture of all martyrs of Dharam Yudh Morcha and those who were killed in fake encounters in Punjab should be displayed at Central Sikh Museum. “Name of the police officials responsible for these fake encounters should also been written with these pictures,” KMO leaders said.
