LUDHIANA: A local advocate has filed a court case against

stars
Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty for hurting the sentiments of a scheduled caste community by allegedly making "
defamatory comments

Munish Purang, the counsel for complainant Narinder Aadia, said that they had filed the plea in the court of the judicial magistrate on January 8 after which they made appearance into the case on Tuesday. He added that the case will come up for hearing on Friday.
“On the next date of hearing, we will make arguments pleading before the court to give directions to police for registration of FIR against Salman
Khan
and Shilpa Shetty or she can give directions to the complainant to record evidence in support of his complaint,” said the counsel for complainant. He added that Supreme Court has banned the use of word which Salman and Shilpa had used for the Valmiki community.
In his application, the complainant Advocate Narinder Aadia has said that the Bollywood actor Salman Khan had made a defamatory comment about the Valmiki community during the promotion of his recent movie. He added that similarly, Shilpa Shetty had also made such comment against Valmiki community during an interview.
