51 units of blood donated

LUDHIANA: More than 50 persons donated blood at a camp organized by Mohyal Sabha at Pindi Dyal Dharamshalla, Civil Lines, on Sunday.
Munish Bali, 43, a resident of Industrial Area and organising secretary of the sabha, said, "A team from Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), led by Dr Rupinder Kaur of blood transfusion department, collected it.Residents donated 51 units of blood. The senior vice-president of General Mohyal Sabha, P K Dutta, also attended the function. Mast Ram Joshi, president of Emergency Blood Donor's Association of Khanna, donated blood for the 101th time. I too did my bit for society."
Jyoti Dutta, a homemaker of Haibowal who donated blood for the first time, said, "I am feeling good and satisfied as I have done something for the needy. I have decided that I will continue to donate the vital fluid."
