PATIALA: In separate road accidents, police here have booked four unidentified persons for causing death by negligence and rash driving. According to the cops, in the last two days, following these accidents, three persons have died, and five others received injuries.
In the first case, Julkan police booked an unidentified car driver for causing death by negligence on the complaint of Raj Kumar of Mashigan village.

He told cops that a car ran over his son Sohalpreet Singh when they were going home. Sohalpreet was rushed to a nearby hospital but he succumbed to injuries.
In the second incident, Bakshiwala police booked an unidentified man on the complaint of Amrik Singh of Sialu village, who was injured near Kalyana village. Meanwhile, Civil Lines police too booked an unidentified driver on the complaint of Dhiraj Kumar of Patiala, who was hit by a car.
In the third road mishap, Sadar Samana police booked a person for killing two persons by negligence. Similarly, Sadar Rajpura police booked an unidentified car driver for rash and negligent driving. Rohit Kumar of Panchkula told cops that an unidentified car applied sudden break, following which his two-wheeler rammed into the car. His friend, who was a pillion rider, died on the spot in the accident.
Tripuri and Kotwali Patiala police too have booked two unidentified men for rash and negligent driving after they injured two persons.
