The ceremony for the pran-pratishtha commenced in two phases on May 8. The first phase comprised narration of Shri Shiv Mahapurana, while in the second phase, from May 15, the Mahayagna of Shri Lakshmi Narayan and the discourse of Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapurana were organised.

To culminate the ceremony of praan-pratishtha, Yogi reached the Gorakhnath Temple on Friday and participated in all the rituals. On Sunday, amid vedic chants, he performed the sacred offering in the Mahayagna of Shri Lakshmi Narayan and performed praan-pratishtha of the idols.

The temple complex echoed with devotional chants as Gorakshpeethadhishwar unveiled the idols of the deities amid devotional tunes playing on musical instruments and bands.

Yogi offered prayers to the Vyasa Peeth and led an aarti. He extended greetings to Shyam Sundar Parashar, the narrator of the discourse, who arrived from Vrindavan. In his discourse, Parashar had explained in elaborate detail the essence of Shrimad Bhagavat, relating it with contemporary context. Yogi expressed gratitude to the architects, sculptors, engineers, and laborers involved in the construction of the temple and the creation of the idols.
