,” he said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre, Raghubar Das in Jharkhand and all BJP ruling states are making sincere efforts in this direction. Enumerating the welfare schemes, the CM said that the poor are being provided free houses, toilets, electricity and gas connections. BJP’s attempt is to connect every citizen with the mainstream, he said.

Speaking on Citizenship Amendment Act, Yogi said that Hindus, Buddhists and Bengalis had to flee to India from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

“After the passing of Citizenship Amendment Act, everyone will get the citizenship of India and they will also be able to take the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government,” the CM said.

India has paved the way for the welfare of humanity and the Citizenship Amendment Act is part of it, he said.
